Hunterdon County Cultural and Heritage Commission

In 1971 the Hunterdon County Board of County Commissioners adopted a resolution creating the Cultural & Heritage Commission according to State Statute. The nine member Commission, appointed by the County Commissioners, is charged with the, "development of programs to promote interest and participation in and understanding of local history, arts, cultural values and goals of the community and state by working directly with arts and historical organizations, schools, religious organizations, service clubs, municipal governments, and other interested groups and individuals."

The Hunterdon County Cultural and Heritage Commission is committed to making your visit as pleasurable and informative as possible. It is Hunterdon County’s policy to provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities with advance notice of need.
